The Wolfgang Schüssel Prize
This prize is awarded to a person whose outstanding activities have been closely connected to, and of benefit to Salzburg, and for their extraordinary services towards tolerant, open-minded and European cultural thought at the points of linkage between the worlds of business, science and culture.
This year the prize was awarded to Professor Peter Ruzicka (composer, Director of the Salzburg Festival 2001 – 2006). |
